About the Position:
Sugaring NYC Dominion/Alamo Ranch is looking for a full-time licensed Esthetician to join our growing team! We are seeking a motivated professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality hair removal and skincare services in a fun, team-oriented environment.
Pay:
- Our top-performing team members average $37/hr (which includes base pay, tips, and commission).
- Pay is based on productivity, client retention, and performance—not just experience.

Current Shifts Available:
- Monday: 9 AM – 7 PM.
- Tuesday: 9 AM – 7 PM.
- Wednesday: 9 AM – 8 PM.
- Thursday: 9 AM – 8 PM.
- Friday: 9 AM – 8 PM.
- Saturday & Sunday: 9 AM – 7 PM.
(We are willing to train the right candidate — prior sugaring experience is preferred but not required.)
Position Overview:
We’re seeking someone who:
- Has experience in waxing and/or threading.
- Is personable, reliable, and professional with both clients and coworkers.
- Can perform male and female Brazilians confidently.
- Knows how to perform brow lamination and lash lifts.
- Is punctual, team-oriented, and focused on client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Esthetician or Cosmetology License (required).
- Minimum 1 year of waxing experience.
- Positive, energetic, and professional demeanor.
- Strong knowledge of skincare and aftercare.
- Comfortable performing body sugaring for all genders (training provided).
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable.
- Customer service experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver an outstanding, comfortable, and professional sugaring experience.
- Educate clients on services and aftercare.
- Build and retain strong client relationships.
- Meet service, retail, and rebooking goals.
- Manage client check-ins/outs using POS.
- Maintain cleanliness, restock rooms, and follow spa protocols.
- Communicate effectively with the team and management.
- Maintain a professional and positive work environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours).
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Full mobility of hands and arms.
- Able to bend, stoop, squat, and multitask safely.

Compensation Structure:
- Base pay: Based on experience and skill level (threading, sugaring, brows, lashes, etc.).
- Tips: Based on client experience and satisfaction.
- Commissions: Earn on retail products and membership sales.
- Raises: Based on productivity, client rebooking %, and overall performance.
- Estheticians who maintain 50%+ rebooking rates and consistent schedules typically earn $30/hr or more.
